Welcome to Sterrett Gardens
We are now open and receiving orders for 2022. Some cultivars are in short supply. If you wish to order more than 3 plants of the same cultivar, please contact us first to determine availablility.
Thank you for visiting our website. We are excited to offer the ability of ordering our daylilies through the PayPal Add to Cart buttons. Of course, you can still email or call us with your choices and pay by check or money order.
We continue to welcome visitors to our official American Hemerocallis Display Garden.
We will be open June 17, 24-25, July 1-4 and July 8-9 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
We did not mail out catalogs this year. If you want a hard copy of the catalog, check Information Shipping/Ordering for a printable catalog and order form or contact us.
If you are coming to visit and know some of the plants that you wish to buy, send us your list ahead of time so that we can have them dug for you. We appreciate your patience. Plants can be ordered for fall but may not be dug while you wait in July – depends upon the weather.
We have a policy in the garden of letting children (<16 years old) select the daylily of their choice from the field. If we have sufficient quantity, we dig a double fan for them to take home for their garden. We have found that this is a great way to get youth excited about gardening and while they are deciding on their very favorite, the parents have a chance to look around too.
We ship at least a double fan. If you wish to have substitutions of equal or greater value, please include a list of suitable substitutes. We include bonus plants worth approximately 20% of the order for orders under $100, 30% for those over $100! Please list suggestions. We offer a collection of 10 varieties (our choice) for $40. When ordering a collection, please let us know if you prefer a particular range of colors. All plants are freshly dug and individually labeled.
